Live from AUC

The attention paid to the recent crisis in Afghanistan tended to focus mainly on the chaos of the evacuations and the Taliban. This unique “Live from AUC” event addresses the current situation in the country and seeks to highlight multiple personal and community perspectives from the region.

Abstract

We bring to AUC several voices of Afghans, including those who have recently fled the country, in order for us to better learn about what is happening on the ground and about their experiences here in Europe. Our in-house experts Daniel Pineu, AUC lecturer, and Sahar Afzal, AUC alumna, will help us understand the past and present of Afghanistan as well as address our engagement and responsibility.
